Very Easy Application!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do my own hair often and tho it is a hassle, it's what's best for me. I was really surprised to see this color retouch by Garnier! I didn't think it could be so easy and simple to color my hair! I had a lot of regrowth in my hair but I wanted to grow it out and not color or bleach it. After growing it out for so long I had to do something! I decided to do a retouch on the top few layers to keep most of it really healthy. This dye is ammonia free and pretty simple to apply. Just mix the two components together and put in hair! In ten minutes, it's ready to wash out! My hair came out died very evenly and the perfect shade. No damage, no frizz and looks great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was not as time saving as I hoped, but still did a pretty good job. Mixing in your hands or in a bowl seems like it'll save time, but it's no different (to me) than putting it in an applicator (like most colors provide) and working it through with gloved hands. There was no unpleasant scent, it rinsed off easily, and was extremely dark. The color was good, and there were only a few hairs that didn't get covered. There was some staining on my skin (which I don't typically get).
Though it worked well, I'm not likely to repurchase as I have other products that work as well (if not better).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier color sensation ,I absolutely love it's a 10 min touch-up color . I just had my roots that were the only thing with gray ,not the length. So I really only wanted to touch them up, and this absolutely worked wonderful. The application was just 2 ingredients to mix, and it comes with gloves, and it wasn't a mess at all. I usually put Vaseline around my head to keep the color from staining my head ,but I forgot, and I was in a hurry ,but this was thick and didn't run at all . It's like a gel that stays in place. I'm definitely going to use this from now on. It's a really great product. I tried to put in before and after pics, and if it let me, I'll come back in after I fix it. I'll put pics in.

Hair and actually it was a close match that it looks very similar to my rooms or it actually lifted my roots and tiny bit so that it blended very nicely! I love the gloves way better than other gloves. I would use this to return to my natural color while i let my roots grow out. The scent was nice also not like ammonia!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will be very neutral with my point of view due to I picked the wrong color for my hair, the application process on this dye was extremely easy, the power of it’s color it’s amazing because it gives you full coverage to retouch your roots, the scent of this product is very nice and it’s not as strong as other dyes I’ve used before. I believe it’s a very nice emergency color retouch you can have when you go traveling since the package is very small. As a conclusion I came say this product is amazing I just need to find the one that matches my hair better, but it leaves you hair hydrated, shiny and manageable. I would totally recommend it!

Quick and fantasyic

This is cheap, easy and quick. It last about 3wks , sometimes a day or two less but it hasn't dried out my hair at all. It doesn't stain me too much on my hairline. I have no interest in spending a lot of money to do something that I don't like having to do in the first place so this is great for me. I have used Garnier products over the decades and have been always greatly satisfied with the results. I use their Pure Clean Styling Gell every day. This is the first time I have used their Garnier Color Sensation Garnier Color Retouch Permanent Hair Color, Dark Brown, and I have to say WOW!" Lovely results

Quick and easy root touchup, but not enough produc

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an easy to use touch-up product. It is ammonia-free, has a nice scent, easy to mix and apply, processes in 10 mins, easy to rinse out. It covered my gray almost 100%. Sounds perfect, but there is not enough product to throughly cover your whole scalp or all your hair as a refresher if your hair is medium length or long. The color level I used was 5 and is a wee bit lighter than I expected.
This is a great last minute emergency retouch product, but I would focus on the hairline, part, and around the part. I definitely need 2 packs for my whole head.

Color refresh without the damage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Garnier Color Retouch, I used the brown shade and was satisfied with the results. Although the sample was a small size, it was enough to refresh the roots and surrounding areas.
I am starting to get some grays and the product helped to even the tone and still bring a natural touch.
One of the things that I like best was having no damage or the hair getting dried, as it can happen with some hair color products.
The application was very easy and not messy, it does not stain the skin, and so far I am enjoying the results, and looking forward to trying different shades that can match my hair as I switch colors to get a more refreshed look.

I used my own plastic bowl to mix the dye. The application was easy to do and there was no strong chemical smell, which I usually hate when dying my hair. It covered most of my gray roots well. The underparts still have a little show, but I’ve always had issue in parting my hair and doing it myself with other products, too. Overall, I thought it was a great product and would use it again if I come across it in store.

Garnier Color Retouch really surprised me!

The product itself is easy to mix together, apply to roots and length. I only applied to in-front & behind ears and along neck where my gray is prominent. I wanted to cover my gray while not removing all my highlights. Leave it on for 10 minutes, shampoo and style as normal. It’s no ammonia formula is easier on hair & skin and will provide up to 4 weeks of coverage. I didn’t notice any scent when applying dye. The color brown was a little too dark for my hair color. I would need a shade lighter that has more auburn in it. But it still colored my grays beautifully and blended in. I will definitely buy this product again!!

The designated packets can be emptied out into your gloved palm or into a small bowl. I doled out equal parts of each packet to my palm, mixed together and applied as if I were shampooing my roots. No mess here! I let it sit for ten minutes then rinsed along with my normal shower routine. After a week I am starting to see some roots coming through though they are slow to appear. I prefer to have more time between coloring my hair but this is a fast solution that saved me when I needed a quick touch up!

What grey?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little pouch packs a punch and a punch of wonders at that! I was quite skeptical at first but in the end it was all worth it! It comes with very easy to follow instructions and is done in a very minimal amount of time all with just a short period of time added to your shower! The application process went very smoothly and the scent was as expected but to note, was not too overbearing. The coverage is absolutely amazing and I can nearly say, unmatched. The only downfall was when rinsing out it seemed to eat up my hair and made my hair feel like absolute straw, but now worries. If for any reason this happened to you, there’s no need to panic! All it took was grabbing the conditioner and letting it sit a while longer than usual. I Would said all in all Lariste is a great company to support!

Love the concept, just not the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the concept of this Garnier Color Retouch, but I don't care for the packaging. It makes it more time consuming with having to mix them into a bowl. I'd prefer it come with the solution already in a pre-made one where the other can be added into it so it can be applied easier and take way less time. It's also more messier this way as well. Another thing, I have very thick hair, and I'd probably need about one and a half of these to get the roots really good. Overall, I'd definitely like to see more product as I'd rather have some left over than not enough, and definitely come in better packaging for easier and quicker applying. Lastly, I did notice that it took away a lot of the gray hairs, but my hair feels very dried out in spots. Personally, this isn't one I'd continue using unfortunately.

I applied the application as a full coverage to my entire head since I had a lot of grey and also had a good amount left over and I have short hair. Overall, this may be my go-to color application! "I received this hair color to review from my son in law. I am someone who typically dies my hair once every few months as my gray hair is mostly in the front of my head. So I am well-versed with how these haircolor systems work. As far as ease, this was a very easy application and not difficult at all. The color went on great and Did not stain my bathtub or my skin. The color came out beautiful and looked exactly how the box indicated it would. I am very happy with the system and will definitely purchase in the future. As we should always look as you feel. And I’m not quite ready to go full grade just yet thanks Garnier for helping us ladies look as young as we feel on the inside.

Such a good idea to make individual packets that you just combine in little bowl ar in your hands and apply to cover grays or to refresh between colors. I waited to do review because a wanted to see how long before it washes out .It's been 3 weeks and just now I need to retouch my stubborn grays.Big plus is there is no ammonia. It's just like shampoo. Mix it and shampoo your hair.Wait 10 min then rinse. Comes with gloves. Doesn't have that horrible hair day smell. Convinient if you travel and need to retouch in the hotel.Iwill definitely buy again to have it handy.

Easy and Effective

I was very happy to discover that it has almost no smell and it did not color my scalp. There was no irritation either. It does a nice job of covering grays, but the brown shade is slightly reddish, as you can see in the photos. I took before and after pictures the same day, and after 2 shampoos. The color has not faded so far.

My hair is brown and it's not that easy to match a product to cover gray temporarily and I've tried several. This one covers all the gray in between coloring periods. I spent more on a product that didn't work half as well as this one. Super easy to use. I'm waiting for my hair appointment again now and I'm not worried about new gray growing in now that I have this product. I will continue to purchase it. It really is the best thing I've ever used for blonde hair. I definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Color retouch brown is incredibly easy to use. In 10 minutes, you can have flawless looking hair. I will say I was a bit confused with the shampoo like meaning. I was not sure if my hair needed to be wet or dry. But after a few readings over and over, I was able to determine exactly what to do. This can be mixed in hand or bowl. If using in your hand, I suggest doing that for all over coloring. But I recommend a bowl simply because it is a lot easier to control and do roots. The color was a lot darker than I anticipated. But I cannot deny the coverage. It is amazing. After 3 washes, it is still long lasting. I also could not find if this was semi, or demi or permanent. I wish that part was more transparent. My hair looks and feels amazing. It is a huge difference and I am incredibly pleased with the results. I am thrilled I have found a product to combat my Greys. This is highly recommended!

I did have two strands of gray hair on the edges that didn't take to the color. The shade range is really nice. I am a simple girl and I'm always going for jet black. The packaging is really good and you literally could put this in your hands and mix it and put it in your hair. I wouldn't cuz I know it would make a big mess. I literally just dropped mines on the glove that was giving and mixed it with a little brush and put it in my hair. This is easy, peasy and small enough to carry on a trip. If you're unable to color your hair while you're home, just carry this in color on the go!

It was easy to mix up and put together and it smells good. I will say if you have a lot of hair like i do it’s not a ton of product. This is good just for your part and maybe sideburn area, it’s not a ton of product

The color after application was as promised, but it’s not necessarily my favorite! Application was relativity easy since I’ve done things of this nature before, so no complaints in that department! For a quick root touch up, this product has clean ingredients and can get the job done. My hair felt slightly dry, which I didn’t appreciate, but a deep conditioner and moisturizing treatments were an easy remedy. Overall, the product is good, it doesn’t have a terribly offensive smell, easy application, and good color pay off.

Quick and easy gray solution

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent this product for grey coverage and I’m glad I got it. I have a few stubborn grays in the front that product took care of. Application was easy and straightforward and processing was pretty short compared to what I’m used to. Less clean up as well. Package comes with gloves, which is also a plus.

Does a decent hob in a jiffy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to get those side stubborn grays. 10 minutes and they were gone for the most part. I was afraid the color was going to be too dark. So I only did it on a couple spots and it covered it with no issues! The one downside is the skin staining no matter how careful I was.

Flawless, quick coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Look at that amazing gray coverage in just ten short minutes! Amazing product in beautiful packaging with easy to follow directions on the box. It was a bit messy to mix up and apply as it doesn’t come with an application bottle and needs to be mixed in a bowl or your hand.

Quick way to touch up your roots! Would definitely

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is just two pouches you mix together. Very easy and quick. I used a plastic hair color bowl and color brush to apply the color. There was no harsh scent and the color matched perfectly. I used my own conditioner and I’m very happy with the results.

Works great, but stains

The color looks amazing and I'm happy it only took 10 mins. The scent was great. No bad chemical smells.

Great root touch up dye!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was very easy to use and fast. My husband’s hair turned out great. It covered all his gray and white hairs. It smelled nice too! The shade matched perfectly to use his natural shade when finished. All in all I would purchase in the future.
