Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color 764 Rouge Cuivré Intense

I wish i saw the reviews on this page before i bought this product.... as others said, it isn't even close to the colour shown on the box AT ALL. I know usually with box dyes there is variance depending on your base colour, and i didn't expect it to be exactly as vibrant as the model on the box.... but my base colour was a natural strawberry blonde: somewhere between the top blonde picture and middle brown picture, and as you can see, my hair came out a dark copper. It's still a pretty colour, but it is not at all anywhere near the colour on the box. Maybe you can get the colour shown on the box with bleach blonde base, but it definitely doesn't come out at all as shown on the box. The only positive is that my hair feels soft and silky, but that's no different than any other dye i've used before. I'd buy again if i want this darker copper colour, because it is still nice, but if you want a vibrant copper like advertised on the box, this definitely isn't the right product.

I have copper hair naturally, and in the quest to cover the greys I bought this box as I had used the brand's Olia in copper before and loved the results. Well, now I am sporting a purple-red, DARK head of hair without a single copper hair in sight. I'm beyond upset because it will take weeks of stripping and hair repair to get back to where I can actually try to regain my copper colour. This colour should be discontinued and FIXED and all these one star review clients, like me, should be compensated for their associated fixing costs. This is SO not okay.

Used to use their "Ronze" no prob, its darker and redder- its nice! Repeat customer. This time I waited MONTHS, so lots of natural roots and faded colour treated Ronze and went with 764 aka " Intense Red Copper". FAIL. Now ALL my hair, including roots is dark red/purply brownish. Even darker than Ronze!! Now I've had to pay EXTRA to get their lightener and see if I can strip some of this nasty out and Im stuck paying even MORE once I BUY some deep conditioning treatment for my about to be fried hair, and then BUY more colour to get it where it was supposed to be originally. IF I DONT NEED TO PAY A PROFESSIONAL TO FIX THIS MESS!! I am incredibly disappointed with Garnier right now. I used to have folls ask me all the time about my colour, and I gave rave reviews. No more. Nope. Never again.

Havent changed my natural reddish shade in a couple years Thought it would be a nice change so i tried this product (#764 Intense Red Copper) normally when i did dye my hair it was with a different brand name and i was always happy with it, Heard that Garnier was a great brand and should try it...and i did. Utter disappointment that almost brought me to tears. As i said i have natural reddish hair (but not ginger) and when i put this when i put this in i thought i dont think it will work (ps box was sealed correctly and not tampered with) and my thought was right. My hair is now dark.....more burgundy/purplish I hate it Sorry but this was such a waste of time and money and now i need to re-dye my hair so i look like myself again.

The colour doesn't match. Instead of dark copper orange it is a redish pink and brown colour. Even going on it was a purplish brown and you could tell it wasnt going to be an intense copper. The most frustrating thing is to come to this site and see all these reviews saying the same thing and yet Garnier hasnt fixed the problem!

I literally just finished dying my hair with this color. I have brown hair that I frequently dye red. I knew as soon as I was putting this color on, that it wouldn't work. Not even a bright red, it turned out more of a dull reddish brown, basically you can't tell I dyed my hair except that it evened out the roots. I have long hair and a lot of it, so I have to use two bottles, wish I could get my money back on this. Maybe a blonde haired person would end up with a nice vibrant copper red, but not on darker hair.

This colour is nothing like what shows on the box. I have been colouring my hair at home for 20 years and colouring it gingery for 10. I decided to try something new, but still orange-red.. make no mistake, this is not an orange-red. It is dark and has purple tones. It has really darkened my hair, nothing like what I had expected, really disappointing.
