As I have many other flat iron sprays, garnier Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector Straightening Mist held up. It Smells great, keeps your hair soft & manageable. For best results, Once you spray, it’s best to flat iron immediately after, as suggested in the directions. I noticed flat ironing after I sprayed the prouduct on it keeps it sleek and soft. When I waited to long and it dried it seemed to be a bit to frizzy. So again, spray to dampness and flatiron. Came out great!! With this product, I feel it was easier to flat iron my hair. It takes forever, because of the length and thickness, and due to living in Texas, it gets puffy and frizzy FAST. I sprayed the flat iron protector on my dry hair immediately before straightening it. It doesn’t speed up the straightening time at all, but I did notice I didn’t have any fly always. After I was finished I sprayed shine spray on, gave it one more quick brush and headed out for the day. Now 12 hours later, it is still straight, not frizzy, looks and smells good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a bit skeptical where this straightening mist would fit in my life, since I don’t usually straighten my hair that often because my hair is already naturally straight. However, it works great for days when I have had my hair up all day, which leaves it wavy and creased. It also comes in handy when I have wake up with my hair all wavy and tousled. I was even able to use this straightening mist along with the Brilliantine Shine Glossing Spray to complete my Halloween look this year! I spray from mid-length down to the ends and 1-2 pumps per area, then I take my hands and run it through the ends while working it in. Even before using the flat iron I notice my hair instantly become more nourished and flattened. I now use it after I have mostly dried my hair with the blow dryer. I find it works as a great tamer of fly-aways and a great heat protector, whether you are using a flat iron or not. Just like the other products in this line, it smells fresh with citrus and tangy notes. Overall, I think offers versatile use with other heating tools to provide optimal thermal protection. This product burned my daughter’s hair off! It did not protect her hair it made it burn!!! It made her hair sticky and you can’t even run your fingers through it. I highly recommend to anyone not to purchase or use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free complimentary of Influenster, and I was wary about it because I had just dyed my hair black, and wasn't sure if it was going to do any damage or take some color off. The Sleek & Shine Flat Iron Perfector actually worked fantastically, and my hair looked healthy and sleek! I have never used any protection on my hair while I have put heat on it, and I was pleasantly surprised at how it didn't weigh my hair down or make it greasy! The scent is fantastic and it's light and doesn't make my hair frizz! My hair is naturally wavy, so it can be hard to keep the hair straight, but it lasted all day. Even though it says it's supposed to last all three days, it did not, but my wavy/frizz hair could contribute to that anyways.

They usually leave my hair feeling stiff or they funk up my flat iron, making it difficult to use. When Influenster sent me this product to try I assumed it would be like the others, but I was wrong. This spray doesn't leave any residue in my hair or on my flat iron and it adds a subtle shine too. It makes your hair damp so it's great to use when you want to touch up your hair the second day or to get rid of a link from a hair tie (as shown in my photo). I would recommend it. O didn't give it 5 stars because I wish it helped more with my flyaways.

All I did was brush out my hair in the morning and it was still straight! My hair is wavy and waves usually after a few hours of stepping outside.
