Garnier Fructis Style Pure Clean Gel coiffant, 200 ml

I really like Pure Clean Gel. It is a thicker gel, so I only use about a quarter coin sized dollup for my entire curly head. I evenly distribute it right after shamp/cond. Next, I twirl shape my curls then cool air diffuse to dry it, then scrunch it out. Able to have 2 days of lovely curls. Happy that there arent any heavy cones in it! Super control of frizz on summer days. Highly recommend this stuff!

I recently became aware of Pure and Clean Gel #3...and thought I'd give it a try...my hair is silver/charcoal and very fine...I usually use a cocktail of styling products to give it some volume and add thickness...but wanted something that was also good of my hair...so I purchased this new Pure and Clean Gel...and WOW! What can I say....look at my hair...VAVOOM!!! I used the Olive Oil infused shampoo which does not weigh hair down at all...I never use conditioner at all beaus my hair is in such good shape since I stopped dying it...then I used the Full & Plush Root Lift and Moouse...then added the Pure & Clean Gel #3 and proceeded to blow out my hair and then hit it with a curling iron in a few spots....look at how fabulous it looks...amazing prodcuts for sure.

Longtime user of many of your products- nice smells and wide range of products. BUT, bought this product since your Super Stiff wasn't on the shelf and it fails miserably in comparison. This product left my curl hair wet looking, crunchy and sticky- yuck. Then frizzy at end of the day. No hold whatsoever on a tropical vacation either, whereas Super Stiff did. Had to move onto other brands ro try to find close replacement to Super Stiff...obviously there is a demand for Garnier to bring it back or something else with close to same formula- please! Garnier- you broke something that didnt need fixing.

I have a ton of very curly, 3c hair, low porosity. As a result, I need something that controls my hair but doesn’t build up easily. I came upon this gel by accident as I am used to using more expensive products. I am glad I gave this a try. Now, all I do is leave some conditioner in my hair and when I get out use about a dime to nickel size amount for my whole head! It gives me shine without being crunchy or grimey with build up. I cannot express that I have a ton of hair. So they Key is just use a little bit. It has a lot of slip so it distributes very easily. I put a little dab, rub my palms together and it spreads really well. There have been a few times I got overzealous and put more than usual and I don’t like the feel. So the key is less is more with this product. It also allows me to extend time between washes because build up is minimal. One tube lasts me for months and months. All for a really inexpensive price!

I have naturally curly, frizzy hair and for YEARS I bought the Super Stiff Gel and constantly received compliments on my hair when using that product. Pure Clean and Curl Crunch is pretty much like putting water that smells good on my hair. Does absolutely NOTHING for my curls. Both products make my hair frizzy, flat, and definitely doesn't hold my curls. I was buying 3-4 bottles a week of the Super Stiff simply because it was AMAZING and did wonders for my curls!! I'm very disappointed it's discontinued and now have to straighten my hair. I miss my curls! Please bring back Super Stiff!!!!

I use only a small amount of gel on damp hair, style and let dry. Later on or next day when I go to brush through my hair I absolutely CANNOT get the brush or comb through my hair. My hair practically gets ripped out trying to brush or comb through it. This is the second time I tried using the gel (bought a second tube thinking maybe the first one was faulty) and had the same result. I've never used anything else that solidified my hair so bad I couldn't comb through it. I had to wash my hair to get it out rather than risk ripping out my hair. I do love the smell though.

Stopped using this product for a month to pinpoint where the redness was from. Garnier Fructis Pure Clean styling gel is the culprit.
