Turns hair brittle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It turned my nieces hair dry and brittle and only darkened it with almost no purple hue. Granted it’s a box dye so I didn’t have super high expectations but this was bad for box dye I highly recommend staying away from this product the only positive that came from this is it did have a pleasant fragrance.

Not the same color

The dye does work well but I bought this looking for a permanent purple hair dye unfortunately it's not purple at all. It's more of a red. So disappointing.

The Shade P1 is best for anyone with natural hair between medium brown and black. Dyed hair takes color differently than natural hair. This shade is not recommended for hair that has been previously colored a shade dark brown or darker, bleached, highlighted, or predominantly gray. I have thick hair so I did have to purchase a additional box but it was well worth it. I only left this on for 25min and my hair is so vibrant and beautiful. My hair feels nice, but that's where this ends. I picked the Deep amethyst because I wanted a dark purple, not a pink or red. I ended up with a magenta that didn't look like the box at all. Idk if I just got a bad product, but this shade is not even close to what was pictured, and I had dark brown hair like the front of the box model that wasn't dyed previously. If you don't want magenta hair, choose a different product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The color wasn’t as bright as I would of liked it to be. My hair color prior was an expresso brown (2nd picture) this color turned it auburn (1st picture) in the sun it looked more purple. It did color evenly and hide some patchy/faded spots from the last time I colored my hair. Overall, good for when you’re in a pinch and want something slightly different!

Didn't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very dark hair and it didn't work at all for me, but it did work on my son who has a lighter brown hair. It made his hair soft but I wouldn't recommend it if you have very dark hair naturally. Was a little fragrant but not too bad.

Great Hair Dye!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Deep Amethyst shade. It's a beautiful purple color, but not a loud color. I have lighter brown hair and this product still brought out the purple color well. It's not a color you can see much indoors, but when the sun hits it, it's absolutely stunning. This product wasn't difficult to use and it didn't stain my bathtub as I was rinsing out the included mask. The mask is an after-color mask that helps to nourish your hair. It was definitely a game changer. I would recommend this product to everyone, including beginners of at-home hair color. If you are looking for subtle color that's not in-your-face, this is perfect for you.
