I am so glad that I was able to review these two amazing products from Garnier to try out on my "natural curly hair". It actually leaves your hair feeling soft and curly without the stickiness. I'm loving my curls extra more now! I never really used Garnier hair care products before so it was nice to get to try it out. I love the Curl Smoothie & Curl Jelly. Both products make my hair look extra curly and the it tames my frizz as well. The products also smell amazing. I recommend using in damp hair, but you can use as you like.

Go easy on this product if you have fine hair

Yes, I recommend this product.

My hair after styling it, and still wet. I let it air dry before scrunching out the crunch of the products (Don't hate the cast, it's a good thing! With it, you can avoid the frizz while it dries, and scrunch it when its dry)

Day 1. My hair after scrunching out the cast. It felt soft to the touch and it wasn't greasy.

Day 4. My hair is a little frizzy by this point, but it wasn't a big deal. I love the volume and I still have a lot of definition.

Great smell, nice improvement for curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster for complimentary testing! I was so excited to try it. My hair lately hasn’t been curling like it used to (naturally) and the frizz has been pretty terrible. I showered and after towel drying and brushing my hair and leaving it damp like suggested I ran my fingers through my hair coated with the product. The smell is awesome! I was afraid I wouldn’t like it but it’s got an almost fruity smell. I watched while my hair air dried (also like suggested) and waited. My hair definitely showed some improvement as far as curls/waves go! The frizz is pretty bad as usual though so I didn’t see any improvement with that. I’m definitely going to try it again And see if I can do it after towel drying my hair off and see if it makes a difference.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was so lightweight! My favorite attribute was how the products elongated my curls without sacrificing my pattern. My curls remained intact and were free and flowing. Most products I've used in the past cause my hair to feel greasy and weighed down, but the jelly and smoothie were lightweight, and a little went a very long way. There was a very minute amount of fallout from the smoothie once it dried, but overall this product is amazing and is now going to be the staple to my natural hair regime.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Fructis Curl Treat Smoothie! I am a curly girl and believe me, I have tried many products, but this one really stands out. It truly is amazing. After you wash and condition your hair, you merely section your damp hair and apply it all the way through to the ends. You finger comb it through and squish your curls and let it air dry. That's all there is to it. It smells divine and is free of sulfates, silicones, and parabens....and there is nothing in it that will dry out your hair. I am so happy to see that there are finally products available for people with natural curly hair. My hair looks great, no more frizz, just beautiful, soft, defined curls. I highly recommend it.

Weird texture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be fair, I think I used too much product. While my hair looked fairly decent, it felt very strange. Not crispy, not dry, but sort of greasy clumpy. I tried it a second time mixed with the jelly and got better results. I did like that these products are curly girl method approved. I received this product complimentary for an honest review.

Just not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this product as a leave-in styler after the shower for a few week now and I must admit that I’m not noticing a huge difference in my hair texture. Perhaps it’s simply the cold winter air in the Midwest (or maybe I’m due for a haircut), but I notice significant frizz just a few hours after getting out of the shower and applying this product. All in all, I simply don’t think it’s a standout product, at least not for my hair. The fragrance is also quite strong and I prefer to use products that are cruelty-free. For those reasons, I wouldn’t repurchase. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes through Influenster.
