The hydrocolloid absorbs gunk overnight and flattens whiteheads in about 8 hours without drying or irritating my sensitive skin. Plus, the slight tint helps blur redness during the day for a more discreet fix. It works best on surface pimples with pus rather than deep blind ones. I love how ultra-thin and invisible these hydrocollid patches are by Garnier. It's honestly impossible to spot after placing and it comes in 2 convenient sizes(10mm, 12mm) to adapt to all imperfection sizes. I tested it both during the day/night on a few swollen, red acne and it adheres well. It effectively shields, covers and flattens imperfections for up to 8H. As for absorbing fluid and gunk, I think it does a good job but could be better. Overall great cruelty-free and vegan imperfection invisible patches for all skin tones. I have tried patches before but wasn't really impressed with the results. They are hard to put on and remove, and never worked on my imperfections. A full out white pimple had turned into a small red dot, that was it. The skin felt soft, no bump at all. I used the patches on a few other spots and again the product seemed to clear the area up. I tried the Garnier Imperfection Patches and overall I found them to be just okay. They did help reduce the appearance of a blemish and felt pretty easy to use, but I wasn’t overly impressed with the results. My main issue was that they left a noticeable mark on my skin after removing them. It wasn’t painful, but the area looked a bit irritated and more obvious than I expected, which I didn’t like. Because of that, I’m not sure I would repurchase them, especially if I needed something for daytime use. They might work better for some people depending on skin type, but for me the after-effect outweighed the benefit. I usually get breakouts often and finally I found a product that gives my skin some relief as well as mask my pimples well. I tried this product and it does what it say. Its a thin patch that covers the pimples and best part is that i can use it under my makeup. The patch is good for 6-8 hours.
