4 Boxes Did Not cover my hair

I wanted a change-the rose golds really attracted me. Unfortunately, I apparently chose the wrong brand/color. I have really thick hair so I normally use 2 boxes of hair color. Two did not do it, so I had to run out and get 2 more. That didn't do it either. I am left with many streaks of my natural blond color showing through. I would recommend Olia; it's a great product.

Not what was advtised

Bought this today. Was uber excited but gravely disappointed. Color result was not as advertised.. stay away from this product far far away.

Didn't even cover the greys

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this product. I really liked that it didn't have any harsh chemical smells and made my hair feel great afterward. I didn't like that the color didn't even cover my greys. I have naturally dark brown and usually dye my hair a dark reddish color. In the sun you can normally see it. When I saw this I figured it would do the same, still be a dark color with a hint of green. No such luck, I did get a little bit if green but did not cover my greys or the red my hair is usually dyed.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Amazing color has me all fired up!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been a little over 5 years since I last dyed my hair. But, I do remember the smell and feel of other brands, so I was sure what I was going to get when I applied Garnier Olia. However, I was pleasantly surprised - the smell was very mild, and the product did not dry my hair at all. The color took instantly, turned out AMAZINGLY vibrant, and did not cause any 'crunch' that other products gave my hair when styling it after dyeing. It has been a few days since application, and my hair is shining, bouncy, and feels incredible. I have been complimented on it's great color, have been asked who my stylist is, and I am absolutely elated to go paint the town Intense Fire Ruby!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Before applying color - this hair hasn't seen a dye for 5 years!!

During application - easy to apply, smell isn't too strong, and now we wait.

Look at this gorgeous color and bounce! Seriously adore how this color turned out!

Beyond disappointing results

I guess I should have read the reviews before purchasing, and now regret that. I used the website’s virtual try on, and because it’s virtual was not expecting exact results. However, I was expecting at the very least a pink hue to my hair. I DIDN’T EVEN GET THAT. I see that other displeased reviewers at least got some form of pink coloring to their hair. I got light blonde? What the heck garnier? My natural hair color is dirty blonde. If I wanted light blonde I would have purchased a light blonde kit not rose gold. My hair is very thin, so I don’t color my hair often and when I do I prefer to avoid the salons as they usually apply harsh chemicals to my hair. I am so upset, the dye didn’t cost much but as I have used garnier products before I expected to actually get the product I purchased. **I followed application instructions exactly and left it on for the amount of time instructed**

Colors isnt there

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had medium brown hair so I th6the color would look decent like on the box if not a bit lighter. But only parts of my hair that looks semi purple is my tips well if you look hard enough I guess but other then that it just looks like I dyed my hair with maybe a burgundy color. Not hat i was hoping for but i hair doesnt look dried out i love the way it made my hair soft and shiny.

Red Bottle to Green

I absolutely loved this product in the RED bottle. But the new GREEN bottle that's the "same" formula has left my hair feeling dry and brittle. Disappointed as I've been using this product for years. It also doesn't smell the same or have the same texture. Using the color shield shampoo and conditioner, I included the ingredients below in the photos. Thank you.

Easy way to brighten your hair

I like that this product brightens up your hair without too much commitment —since you only put it on parts of your hair that you choose, you don’t have to commit to one overall color to maintain-but you still get the overall effect of lighter color. I have dark brown hair so mine did come out a bit orange —I could have applied the product again to take it past the orange stage-I decided instead to try blue conditioner-and that tones it out perfectly! (Blue works for brassy orange/purple works for brassy yellow) I’m rating it a 3 only because you have to be careful with you starting color—lighter hair probably comes out great; darker hair will most likely need a follow up with the blue conditioner (not purple)
