good hair gel for waves & curls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good gel for wavy & curly hair. I really like the smell, but I sort of wish the consistency wasn’t as thick. I used this along with my regular products & it added some nice hold to my waves and curls. My hair still feels soft after diffusing & I can tell that it added/ kept moisture in my hair. Next time I would try to use a bit more product to see if I can get a cast on my hair while blow drying. I really like that there are no drying alcohols in this affordable hair product because it’s something I try to stay away from & I think it’s a good value for the price. Overall I do like this gel, but not sure yet if I would repurchase.

No sticky gel, mess free, and extremely lightweight, you don’t even know it’s applied to your hair due to the fast absorption. Hair doesn’t feel wet once applied or crunchy the next day. Restorative product conditions dry hair for the perfect polished look, giving your hair a vibrant color curls full of bounce and shine while eliminating frizz! It also has an excellent natural aroma. The only gel product I’ve experienced to not be sticky/thick, absorbing seamlessly into my hands as I applied throughout my hair. Curls remained intact the entire day and throughout the remainder of the week! I’ve finally found a product that works with my hair texture!

Great curls without crunch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product for free for an honest review. The quantity you get in this jar is outstanding! Its going to last me forever. Ive been looking for something that will hold my curls without being so crunchy afterwards. I don't like my hair 90s style. Lol This is perfect! I washed my hair and then added the product like I normally do and styled. I included before (wet hair) and dry (after styling) and I love the way it looks! I reccomend adding this product to your styling routine for someone who wants to give their curls a little more structure without crunch.

Does not maintain moisture not free of stiffness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first time ever Garnier has actually disappointed me. I was so excited for there to be a gel to bring out my natural curls and not strip the moisture. Unfortunately this isn’t it for me. My “after” hair is so much worse than my “before” is. My hair feels so dry, parts of it is stiff and definitely not holding consistent curls. Then once I combed it out after a few hours when I couldn’t stand it anymore, so many tangles and poofy frizz. Everything this gel promised, I got the opposite effect. It was just like previous gels I’ve tried before. Back to other curl products instead of gel for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t very impressed with this hair gel from Garnier. I can get better softer curls from other curl creams and gels. It’s smells great but it did not give me a smooth big curl like I want. It’s just okay to use, as it’s in a tub so you have to scoop it out. I prefer a bottle. It may be user error but I wasn’t a fan.

It didn’t leave any flaky residues, there’s no crunchiness, and it did not leave my hair feeling stiff. I also love that I did not need a ton of product to achieve the look I was going for. Will definitely use this again!
