Garnier Fructis Moroccan Sleek Oil Treatment, 111 mL

This used to be my absolute go to I would choose this over any salon hair oil literally every time shopping for oil. It always left my hair A1 every single time, I swore by this up and down. I don’t truly know what happened if anything has changed with the product itself, maybe they changed some ingredients but it has recently started to leave my hair feeling greasy and heavy. I changed every single hair product before I realized that it was actually this that was doing something to my hair. Really missing the old results.. will still give 3 star because this was an absolute staple to my daily hair routine. I have used this for over 10 years and this is the first time I’ve had a negative experience. Maybe my biology changed over the years, I have virgin hair down to my waist at the moment. Just really confused about what has changed about this oil.

I can use it for an oil treatment or I can use it to help tame the frizz in the morning! I love that it works amazing on my hair to tame mild frizz and leave it sleek and shiny, but I can also use it on my daughter's super curly hair to help both tame and define her curls! My hair is always super staticy after i straighten it and the Garnier Moroccan Oil Treatment helps me tame the static. It's like magic I can feel the oil heating up as I rub it between my hands. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend and I both have very full curly hair so I was very excited to try out this product and see what it could do for us! I was pleasantly surprised at how well the product worked for our hair. It really did smooth the hair strands and created a beautiful non-greasy sheen to our curls. Especially my boyfriends. His hair really loved this product. The only thing I personally did not like and the reason for 4 stars was the smell on myself. It smells like cologne. It smells good but clashed with the scents I wear on a daily basis. I usually apply in the evening so the scent is gone by morning. Otherwise, I really like this product!

I definitely will be purchasing more of this product because I was a little too generous with my portions. It doesn't take much of this product to achieve the silky sleek look and that's what I love the most. My biggest concern with this product before I tried it was whether or not it was too greasy or not. This part of the product is something I enjoyed because it looked thick, but was super light. Although my hair is super coarse and curly it held nicely and embedded into my scalp with was super impressive.

When I put it in, it wasn’t overly oily, which is a bonus, but I noticed nothing amazing or too different with my hair. I used it twice more later in the week and then I noticed it. My hair was softer, easier to manage, and there was less ‘webbing’ in my hair. Webbing is when frizzy strands or fly away hairs grab onto each other and form knots both at the end of the strand as well as near the roots. The oil added a good deal of slip to my hair without making me feel like I dumped frying oil on my head. I really love it. If you try it, be sure to be patient when looking for good results.

I have frizz and baby hairs from pregnancy like crazy. I haven’t been able to find a product to help tame it and make it look good in these humid Texas conditions that I live in, until now. This product is simply wonderful. It has easily become my go to hair product on a daily basis. It’s easy and quick to use and you can be on your way. This will become something I regularly purchase to help with my hair routine. If you’ve got frizzy, unamnagenable hair, I definitely recommend trying this product! I think you will be glad that you did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little skeptical about Garnier Fructis' new Moroccan Oil treatment because I do not like a lot of product in my hair, but after a week of use I am very pleased! I only wash my hair every other day so I really don't want a lot of product buildup, but this product didn't cause my hair to be oily at all. After washing my hair I applied a dime-sized drop to my medium length hair and worked it through the ends, avoiding the scalp area. After my hair dried it was silky soft and less frizzy than normal but without being weighed down. It has a very light, slightly-sweet smell to it, but that goes away after your hair dries. Love it!
