Few days back,I tried the Garnier Hair Color in 4.61 Red Sunrise on me and my male friend, our natural hair color is black but the results were fine! I don’t think I’ve been so impressed with a “boxed” hair dye ever before in my life! It smells more like a nourishing shae hair treatment than a hair dye, and this colour is beautiful! My hair was a darker brown to begin with, and with this colour applied to it made the most wonderful maroon colour with ALOT of shine! It comes with a big pouch of shae conditioner (which is a lot easier to dispense than the typical skinny tube of conditioner from a typical box colour! And it made my hair smell amazing, and super soft. My boyfriend asked me if I had perfume on because it smells so good. Honestly I didn’t think red would look good on me, but I’m glad I was wrong. Overall a great product! Application was easy, loved that it came in a tub that can be used for mixing, talk about fun! The scent was pleasant although it can be overwhelming for people sensitive with fragrance. Color came out nice after the dye hair was shiny in vibrant red and smooth however after a few washes I noticed the color was fading quite a bit and hair got a bit dry. I had to leave conditioner on longer every other wash and it seems to have helped with dryness. Would definitely repurchase.
