This is my GO-TO Hair Color!

I was given this product courtesy of TOPBOX to try, and was surprised when I received it as it's my usual choice in hair dyes-even the shade, Soft Black! I have probably used this particular coloring half a dozen times and I love it because the color suits my skin tone well and it covers greys expertly. It is also longer lasting than many others I have tried, so I always go back to this one! The scent doesn't cause me issues as many dyes do and after usage, my hair is left velvety smooth and shiny. It was great to #gotitfree, but you already had a customer in me and I will be loyal to this brand in the years to come! I definitey recommend this product and my daughter has used it as well! Thanks Garnier and TOPBOX!

Does not drip!

I received the nutrisse soft black hair colour via topbox for free in exchange for an honest review. I really appreciated that I was selected to give it a try as I colour my hair on a regular basis. For the most part I really liked the product and will absolutely use it again! Loved: - formula was a smooth application with NO DRIPS!!! I have white floor tile- this is a huge win! - colour payoff was great! I got a full cover of all my greys. - didn’t have any staining on my tub or pillowcase after washing colour out. Cons: stained a few sections of my scalp but came off my face and ears with a baby wipe.

New formula is horrible!

I have been buying the Garnier Nutrisse Soft Black dye for years & it's always covered my dirty blonde hair well with a nice dark colour. This is my go-to hair dye. Well this time when I went to buy my usual dye I noticed the box had changed to new packaging but hoped for the same product. When i went to use it at home I found the new materials packaging to be problematic. The dye bottle itself seems to be poorly designed in that I had a hard time getting the dye to dispense. The new oil packet didn't snap open so I had to cut it. But my BIGGEST problem with this new version of the dye is that it is definitely NOT the same product I've been using for years. This time it went on green which made me quite concerned. When I washed my hair out & dried it my roots were not black, but rather a green-tinted brownish colour. My roots are still very light & noticeable & the colour is so ugly. What a waste of money & my time. Whatever you have changed to the formula has made this unusable for me. After being a faithful customer for years, I will no longer be buying Garnier Nutrisse hair dye.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Hair feels so soft

I was looking for a product specifically to cover my grey hairs. I am very careful with the products I use as I dont want to damage my hair any more than it already has been. So I was excited to see this new collection garnier has using natural Ingredients (avocado, olive and shea oil). I used 1 box, usually I use 2 as I have really long hair. 1 box went a long way. I was actually surprised. I also found this product didnt smell as strong as some of the other products I have used. This stayed in my hair well and I had no issues rinsing it out. The colour came out a little lighter then expected but I am fine with it. In looks very natural. The thing that stood out the most using this was the softness of my hair. I have never felt my hair so soft after using a dye. #freeproduct

Color Change

I’ve been using this color for years, and noticed a branding and packaging change on my last purchase. This color has been changed. It’s a completely different color when applying it to your hair and has a lot lighter tone to it than previous. I don’t think I can continue to use this. Why the change now?

Great results

I have been using the Garnier Nutrisse Cream for many years because it consistently gives me great results.I first used the product when I went from an awful brown-blonde and needed to get back closer to my more natural color. I loved how my hair looked in the soft black and I've been using it ever since. It's pretty easy to use and not messy.
