Garnier Olia Ammonia-Free Natural Highlights for Brunettes

I received this as a #freeproduct to try and had a great experience! The product was easy to use and the instructions and video were all the prep needed, even though I had never used an at-home highlight kit before. I used it on shoulder length brunette hair that had already been lightened to that shad, and left it on for 45 minutes and it gave lighter blond highlights throughout that were well-blended. Definitely worth the price given how much money you save from getting the same done at a salon. I'd recommend getting a second person to help with application and likely if you have longer than shoulder-length hair, may require 2 packages to have enough product. Overall, a great product!

This definitely lightened my hair but its not as light as the models in the photos. I did not leave it in my hair for the 45 mins as I was afraid to fry my hair like others on Youtube so I left it in my 30 mins but it gave me nice subtle summer highlights. I would say that it is a tad messy as there isn't anything to make distinct lines but its nice for balayage styles. I love the natural highlight vibes. If you have a lot of hair or plan to do large sections, I might suggest buying a second box of this as backup in case you run out. Thanks to Topbox for letting me try this free. #freeproduct

So happy I got the chance to try this highlighting kit , love the results gave me a beautiful natural highlight over my brunette hair . I received this highlight kit from Topbox circle for free to try and give my honest review. So first off I love the fact that it gives you the option for more than one type of use. It shows that you can give yourself natural highlights, dramatic highlights or you can ombre your hair. The scent wasn't overpowering or intensely chemical smelling. I am super happy with Garnier Olia Highlights Oil Powered for Brunettes. It's very easy to apply. I tested it and it really looks like Natural Highlights. I was excited to try this highlighting kit as I’ve used other Olia products for full length before. The product has a thick consistency when mixed and did not make a mess. The smell is somewhat more pleasant than your typical box dye. The amount of product is quite limited so I wasn’t able to do the ombré look I envisioned. The lifting of colours on dark natural hair also leaves a brassy orange tone, so a purple toner is required. This is still a good product for highlights but for optimal results I would recommend two boxes and purple toners for darker natural hair shades Liz #freeproduct #trywithtopbox

This product would have been a lot more useful if it came with a toner. You can’t easily lift colour on brunette hair without toning it. While it might be able to lighten up to 4 levels of lift, depending on the depth and darkness of your hair, lightening it, will always pull yellow or orange tones, as it did with me. You also receive very little product so you may need to purchase two depending on the length and thickness of your hair.  This is a cool concept, and I really like the foil-free aspect to this highlighting kit. Pros to this product is that it is really easy to apply, with a no drip formula. Being ammonia-free it has a pleasant non-irritating smell especially compared to other brands and left my hair feeling soft. #freeproduct

So I got Garnier's ammonia free hair highlights as a #freeproduct from #topbox to #trywithtopbox. I was pretty happy to see the natural oils in ingredients lost and how it comes amonia free but I was expecting a little more. The quantity wasn't sufficient, which is okay, I can get 2 boxes but I didn't like the results too. Nothing vibrant, no shine and barely there shade (my hair color is medium brown). Regardless, I'm willing to give it an other try to see if it works for tye second time or not. Tries Olia hair color too but the color won't last. Not even for 4 washes. Fades away pretty quickly

I applied my highlight using an applicator brush and foil, although the package does come with an applicator stick. The blonde developed pretty quickly on my light brown hair. I have highlighted hair now, which is the result I was going for for summertime. The clay makes it easier to apply and sticks to the hair well, as it is not runny and doesn’t drip. The conditioner the colour comes with smells great and made my hair feel soft and smooth unlike typical hair bleach. Would definitely purchase, but would need two boxes as one box was not enough for my extremely thick hair! #trywithtopbox #freeproduct

I haven’t had the change to try it yet because I’m waiting for the right time (will leave another review then). For now, I think it will do the job just nicely. The products had cleaner ingredients than others I’ve tried! I have a lot of hair so I’m planning on doing a low balleage, since most reviews said there’s little product. I tried the Garnier Olia product for free to lighten my hair which are naturally brown. I left the application for 30 minutes only, because I wanted a natural result. I am very satisfied with the result and the product applies easily without making a mess. I also love that this is a vegan and silicone-free product. I recommand it. #trywithtopbox #freeproduct

Even though there was not much product for my hair I managed to do a few sections in my hair. I would have like to see a stronger effects as it didn't show as strong of a nightlight as I expected

I received this #freeproduct from #trywithtopbox in exchange for an honest review. First thing that drew me to this is ammonia free! Which made the scent much more bearable, but I would still recommend you do it in a well air ventilated area. The package comes with eazy to follow instructions with simple steps. Everything you needed including mixing bowl, spatula and gloves. The clay thickening, non-drip formula makes the application super eazy and effortless. However it can still be very time consuming as you had to section your hair and take the time to coat each strand.  I opted for the 30 minutes more natural result instead of the full 45 for more visible results. It came out great! This multi-tonal formula makes it looks very natural.  I love that this is silicone free and is enriched with 60% natural flower oil that left my hair silky and soft to the touch. Finishing with the included conditioner also left my hair extra silky and shiny. I would use this again and recommend this to anyone who has alittle more time to spare. And also anyone who wants a budget friendly, natural looking highlights.

i received this box of highlights for brunettes free in the mail to try and review via topbox. i procrastinated trying it because i had a bad experience before with a box of highlights turning my hair orange but this one made it blonder and fairly subtle although i did only leave it only for 20min. i colour my hair light/med brown to cover greys and this worked well. i had plenty of colour to make quite a few highlights and my hair is just below shoulder length. i wouldn't mind getting some help next time for the back of my hair. easy to use though and good results.

I have used many different types of brands of permanent box hair dyes over many years. I used this during the evening at home. This product is ammonia free, as well as vegan friendly. I liked the feel of my hair afterwards as it was very soft, smelt nice too. The only problem I had with it was that there wasn't enough product to really make my hair look nice. I would at least need a couple more boxes to have my hair look good with the Highlights as I have long hair. I received this #freeproduct through #trywithtopbox. Overall I liked the results, but the mixture is on the thicker side which makes it harder to apply but nicely, it doesn't drip and make a mess like others tend to do. There is no strong lingering smell which i appreciated. The product was left on for around 45 minutes and am happy with the results. Left nice natural looking highlights and my hair was silky smooth after washing it out but as I have thick long hair I think a second box would have given me better results with more product to distribute.

It is very simple to use and the kit comes with everything you need. The consistency is thick and did not drip and make a mess. I did notice that I had just enough product to cover my whole head but I think you may need a couple or maybe 3 boxes if you have long hair. It does not have a strong smell and it left me hair looking extra shiny. I am happy with the results especially for a boxed highlighting kit!

I was pleased with the instructions they were easy to understand and the product smelled ok and was easy to put on. It wasn't near enough to do my whole hair, I would need at least 3 boxes. But the hair that I did get turned out nice and very subtle. I left on for 45 minutes. I would recommend but if you have longer hair grab a few boxes. #trywithtopbox #freeproduct

I received this #freeproduct from #topboxcircle to try for my honest review. Off the bat I loved that this was for darker hair and I was excited to see if it worked well. Upon opening the box it had all the components needed for the job however I have lots of hair amd found that it was not enough product to cover it all. That was a minus for me. On the positive side the product was thicker and easier to apply. It did not have a string ammonia scent which I was expecting. The instructions were easy to understand and follow. Once applied it washed out easily and loved the cream conditioner that helped to keep my hair soft and silky. Once dried it looked great with the streaks. It was fun to do and would get this product again. Except two boxes would be best.

Application was easy. I do have long hair and quite a bit of it so I was selective and deliberate with applying. It definitely took to my natural hair very well My hair did actually feel quite nice after it was rinsed out and done.
