Better than others I've tried

I really like this in general, not a miracle cure but if you keep using it faithfully it works. It feels great (very light and not greasy at all), and helps keep my hyper-pigmentation at bay. Word of advice: DON'T use any generic version of Garnier's Clearly Brighter line you see in the drug store. If you can afford more expensive products, fine - but don't bother to go cheaper. I once tried a generic version - it smelled horrible and didn't work at all. Stick with Garnier!

New formula doesn’t work

I had used this product for at least ten years and loved it. A couple of years ago they changed the formula and packaging. It wasn’t the same consistency and did not smell the same. I tried the new formula and started noticing dark spots within 2-3 weeks. I had to go online to find the older formula and bought as much as possible. Well, I just ran out and had to use the new stuff. I again have noticeable dark spots within a couple of weeks. Please, please, please go back to the old formula. It was amazing and worked better than anything else I had tried. In the mean time, I will be taking my business elsewhere to find something that actually works.

No, I do not recommend this product.

First off, let it be clear that there is no overnight miracle cure for removing dark spots. Expecting such would only lead to nothing but disapointment. Having said that, having used my Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Dark Spot Corrector, I did not see immediate result overnight. What I did notice is that there is no tingly, itchy feel on the area where I applied the Spot Corrector. In the past, I have experienced some itchiness on other whitening spot correctors. I am happy tht Garnier's formula is better when it comes to that issue. I do believe that the spot corrector aids our body to even out the skin discoloration.

I love this serum. I don't have dark spots on my face but I used it on the dark spots on my shoulder (that I always thought were freckles). I had some from playing sports in high school and I noticed a pretty big change in them. I've been using the product for a few weeks and plan to keep using it because of the change I noticed. I have told most of my friends about this product and they plan on getting it. If it can make a difference in the dark spots I have, imagine what it will do to keep them off my face. I really recommend this product for anyone looking to change the dark spots they have or to prevent dark spots.

Really made a difference

I live in Tempe Arizona so my face is very prone to darkening and blotchiness from constant sun exposure.This product helps me maintain my natural skin tone and evens out my complexion very well. The results occurred relatively fast . Instantly, I noticed my complexion was warmer and brighter. After 2 weeks I noticed that my skin was pretty even and smooth. I get so many compliments!

I first tried this product several years ago I just never left a review lol anyways within one week of using it as stated I noticed a huge difference in my dark spots, and by week three most of my dark spots on my cheeks were completely gone! I now use the product whenever I start to notice a new dark spot appearing as well as sunscreen everyday and it works like I said before, just like magic! I'm so happy I found this product and the price can't be beaten for the results you will achieve! I highly recommend this to everyone who has any dark spots or acne scars, you won't be disappointed!

Love & Works Wonders

I suffered from acne as a teen and my skin tone was very uneven. I have been using this religiously for almost three years at night and the clearly brighter moisturizer in the morning and it has worked miracles. It has completely evened my skin tone and gotten rid of my old scars and even helps my current pimples clear up nicely without scarring. I have had multiple people compliment my skin and I always point them to the clearly brighter line. I cannot say enough good things about it! The price can seem a little steep but this lasts over a month for me (a little goes a long way)

I'm not sure this product did anything for my skin. I don't have much sun damage though, which appears to be this product's target. I was hoping it would lighten my acne scars, but I haven't seen a difference. This product also contains gold sparkles, but they go away once you put your moisturizer on. Sadly, the brightening aspects of this product make my face look shiny (as opposed to illuminated), but that goes away after applying makeup. On the whole, this isn't a bad product, I just don't think it's for me.I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
