Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color 260 Black Cherry

I bought this colour thinking it would give my hair a nice red to compliment my dark that is on top. As I was using this colour to do underneath while keeping the dark brown on top. It didn't change my hair colour one bit. This is super disappointing because you buy a product at a price thinking hey ill get the colour that they are specifying on the box but that it not at all true with this one. I always follow the guidelines and make sure about the colour on the box before purchasing it. Garnier has always been my go to, but that is going to change now since I buy a box to keep my same exact colour which makes no sense. waste of money and time.

I bought this today an it turned my hair black it has no red in it what so ever!! I am very mad

Bought this for the first time. I normally dye with regular hair colour like brunette or blonde or auburn...this time I stepped outside my comfort zone and am SO disappointed it will not last. Don't get me wrong I love the colour and it went over my medium to dark brown I had well...but every morning in the shower it is literally a blood bath. :( My colour is fading from the picture I posted (which is the next morning after dyeing it) and is now much, much lighter red...not what I wanted. I have been dyeing my hair for some 37 years now...premature gray since I was 19 years old. I know what I am doing and have had professional hairdresser tell me so. Very disappointed in this product. Garnier has been my go to for hair dye and in the regular colours I have never been disappointed like this!! I won't be purchasing this again even though I love the colour. I have ruined a pillowcase now and since it is spring with all the predictable rainstorms I am now afraid of going outside for fear of dripping red on my spring jacket, car seat and anything else I come in contact with. Not impressed Garnier....not impressed at all.

Nutrisse Ultra Color is my go-to brand for boxed dyes. I took this colour in the hopes to achieve a nice vibrant dark red. My natural hair is medium-dark, and I usually don't have a problem getting good colour. It came out way too dark for my liking. It's pretty much black with a few hints of red. It's more like cherry cola than black cherry. I did it yesterday, so I hope it will come out brighter as it fades.

I personally love my hair color. I had a lady at work ask me where I had gotten my hair coloured and I said that I had done it myself and told her the shade. She then had dyed her hair the color and she too was asked what color. Long story short, 4 of us at my job now have this color hair.
