Amazing Drugstore Hair Dye

My friend and I really like this hair dye from Garnier! My friend really like the feeling of the application it didn't burn her scalp at all (usually it does)! The smell was really not that strong compared to other hair dyes from other brands! The color 560 Vibrant Red is absolutely beautiful and just like the name says it is really vibrant! It left my friends hair silky soft and really shiny! My friend and I would definetely repurchase this hair dye kit from Garnier for my next coloration! Brown but definitely not vibrant red

I have ombre hair. From dark brown to bright red. It hadstarted to fade so I used this to add reddish hues to the brown and brighten up the red my hair is more auburn/brown than red on the bottom and it started red. I am so unimpressed because now I need to bleach my hair to get bright tones again. Only giving it 2 because at least it's easy to use. Even if it doesnt give desired results.

Left two are before when it was quite bright red. Right is after which is brown.... top left and right are taken in the same place for a fair comparison.

This product does not work on dark brown hair. Turned it black, no red at all!

Convenience of one step!

I received this hair colour as a #freeproduct from top box. I have been using Garnier hair products for years and I was excited that they are moving towards creating hair dyes that don’t require bleaching first. My hair was more black than brown so I didn’t get as much of a colour payout than I would have if my hair was a tad lighter but it still turned out to be a nice colour! I should have lightened my hair first to be more brown but I wanted to see how the dye would work without any lightening. Overall I was happy with my results and already went out and tried a purple in the same Ultra Colour line and I am very pleased!

Not the same color as on the box

I was looking for an experience without bleaching first. I'm used to dye my hair since I'm 12 years old (now I'm 44) so this wasn't my first ride. I hoped that as time went by, some new technology would have developed and would provide a hassle-free experience. As shown on the picture (displaying my natural color as well), my hair turned out a dark raspberry color rather than the fiery red advertised on the box. I'm not surprised that the good reviews come from people who have been paid to try it and to boost the chances that it turns out as advertised (they probably bleached first). Do not trust the vibrant color shown on the product box, you'll be disappointed. I wish I could have a refund for wrongful advertisement.

Horrible expérience

J'avais les cheveux rouges vif. j'ai voulu refaire mon rouge donc j'ai acheté cette couleur (le 560). Résultat: je me suis retrouve avec les cheveux brun/roux foncé et de couleur très très FADE. Mes cheveux ont perdu 100% de leur éclat. Je suis très décue. Photos à l'appuie si vous ne me croyez pas.

Good product

Great product. I loved how simple it was to use, and the gloves were actually true fitting. Not like alot of dyes, where the gloves are falling off during application. Left hair feeling soft, does have a bit of smell. But not over powering like most. The one issue I had was the color did not look as red as the picture from the box, even going from a blonde to this color. But I will definitely look for brighter reds by this brand, as I got this #freeproduct from toolbox.

So vibrant and shiney!!!

I recieved this in my #TopBoxCircle review package, and rushed to put it in my hair. I have naturally blonde hair, and also Very, very long, down the middle of my back! One box covered my entire head, and it looks amazing! Ive washed my hair 3 times since dying, and the color is still sharp!
