Garnier Belle Color 8N Blond Moyen Nude

I have naturally medium brown hair on top, with a lot of grey/white on the side temples. This shade blended the grey/white with the medium brown into the medium nude blonde shade pictured on box. The colour looks rich, healthy and natural. The dye was gentle to my hair. It felt soft after I rinsed it out, even before I applied the conditioner. I think I have finally found "the one"! Please do not stop making this shade. I want to use it from now on. I was a bit scared after reading some of the reviews. Perhaps any problem cited by other viewers, with this shade, has been fixed. Also, the online chat with the consultant at garnier.ca was extremely helpful to me.

I tried it on my daughter natural hair which is light brown, thin structure. On the box, it showed that her colour should become a few levels lighter. The result was nothing, not even a slightest change. Very disappointing, especially because it was my daughter's first attempt at a major hair transformation. She is 14. We did everything according to the instructions. The dye was very runny, although it's supposed to be a creamy formula, hard to work with. I had another shade for myself, I returned it the next day, I wasn't going to take another chance with it. I'm very hesitant now about boxed dye.

I've used other Belle Colors before and they worked well, but for some reason, 8N darkened my hair. My hair was already a neutral natural blonde about 1-2 shades darker than what was on the box. I followed the instructions, and my hair ended up slightly darker with more of a reddish tone - which is going to be difficult to undo. I'm sure other dyes are fine - but this one is a dud.

This provided overall good grey coverage. I tried this number 8N instead of the medium Ash one that I normal use, as it looked a bit rose-gold-esque on the box. I don't know if my hair tends to naturally copper because I used to be strawberry blond, but this left my whites (have a witch's streak) very coppery. I don't dislike it but I wasn't expecting it. I'm not sure if it's my hair structure that left it this colour (I started with a dirty blonde hair with grey streaks)

I was expecting a lighter hair colour to my medium brown but was disappointed. It looks ok but definitely not blonde

I bought it this morning at shoppers drug mart, it did not work as the picture shows on the package, I have darker natural hair. Just like other user comments, it didn't change my hair color at all. The before and after pictures are so misleading. I would not buy this product again. Either fix your formula or replace the misleading pictures on the package. So Disappointed!

I bought this hoping to lighten a few shades. And I know that's a steep ask with boxed dyes but this box said it lightened brown and dark hair as much as lighter brown and blonde shades. Well not only did it not lighten my hair but my hair went darker!! The product was literally black as it was coming out of the bottle..... Won't recommend spending your money on this.

I bought this today. I have medium brown hair. It did NOTHING. It was supposed to go multiple shades lighter and NOTHING changed. Absolutely pathetic. I would NOT waste your money on it.
