PREPARATION

Place a towel around your shoulders, close it with a non metallic clip.

Section your hair horizontally at the temple level and clip it to the top of your head.

Put on your gloves… and start mixing the lightening powder sachet with the developer cream bottle inside the mixing bowl.

APPLICATION

Start from the back of your head… and select a fin strand from the roots, roughly wide as half of your pinky phalanx.

Scoop a fingertip amount of product with your other index and start applying from the middle of the strand towards the end.

Apply the texture evenly on each strand until it is fully white.

RINSING

For the developing time

Start at the end of the application, 30 min for a subtle result, 45 min for more visible yet natural results.

After, keep your gloves and thoroughly rinse off your hair.

You may now remove the gloves and apply the after color care.

Finally dry and style your hair the way you like it and enjoy the result!

How can I get a natural result?
Olia highlights are designed for natural looking results. We suggest you watch the tutorial to get tips on www.garnier.ca
How can I avoid an orange/yellow undertone?
If you have a dark base leave the maximum time to obtain a more golden result. As an extra tip, you can wash your hair with cold water and use a purple shampoo to refresh the color. Remember that if your hair contains multiple colors (e.g. due to previous hair coloring) you may get a different color result.
How long do I have to wait to do the highlights again?
You should leave them for at least one week. As long as you respect that delay, you can use Olia highlights as frequently as you’d like to add strands.
Can I use to cover my grey hair too?
Olia highlights does not cover grey hair. However, if you have some early gray hair, highlighting can help to blend it, as it will blend in with the pigmented hair.
How do I avoid stains?
The formula is thick enough to stay put and not drip. However if the formula touches additional strands of your hair don't worry, you can remove the excess with a wet towel.
How do I prepare my hair before I do the highlights?
Apply the highlights to clean, detangled hair in the direction of your natural hair style.
