Garnier Nutrisse Cream 81 Medium Ash Blonde

It's still very fresh so I'm still processing how I feel about it. Called in and spoke to customer care. I have level 7/8 dirty blonde hair, it was completely grown out and natural. I had about 50% grey, and my hair looked muddy. I picked 81 so it wouldn't show too much growing out. I just wanted to perk it up a bit but stay on the silver side. The peroxide lightened my hair a lot in the dying process, showing yellow/orange, and the ash didn't set in as much as expected. I took 20 minutes to get it applied, and left it on 25 mins after that. I could see some darkening. It has continued to darken a bit in the hour since I rinsed it (I have noticed that before with other products). I rinsed in lukewarm water (should you use hot?). It looks much more golden than I expected. Kindov brownish, like a level 7 golden brown... or dark strawberry blonde. Not what is pictured on the box. But it's okay. We'll see how my roots look in a month's time. I have purple shampoo, and a chrome demi if necessary.

My hair pulls red so intentionally bought ash knowing this. My colour turned out dark regardless of my hair matching the before colours on the side of the box and worse than that it came out very orange/red with the dark. I've washed my hair twice with dish detergent and baking soda and now sitting here with conditioner with a bit of green and blue food colouring in it to try and tone down the dark orange/red colour I ended up with. Nowhere near blonde in and way shape or form. I am very dissapointed with the outcome of this.

I really love my hair colour after using this product! I always got a brassy tint to my hair with other brands and this one left my hair with the blonde hint of colour I was looking for!

My experience with this product was not as good as the other reviewers. I tend to pull a lot of brass so I always get an ash bass color. The result for me was a strawberry blonde. So as you can expect, I wasn't thrilled!

Looking for the light Ash Blonde (not medium blonde) I bought while in Panama. I believe it was #81 Avena in the Nutrisse Cream line. My hairdresser loved it and so do I ! My hair is silky smooth, not brassy and in great shape.I am 74 year old so over the years I have tried many products and this one is excellent. I always had my hair colored at the hair salon but he says why as this is fabulous! I agree!

My hair is strawberry blonde after using the medium ash blonde shade. Really wanted a cool blonde tone and am disappointed. I am happy with the grey coverage and hair is soft after colouring, but colour is not as adveritised. Will use purple shampoo and hopefully this will tone it down a bit.

Love this product - no brassy notes and will continue to use!

My hair is dark blonde and I have been using a Garnier dark blonde to cover grey hair coming in around my hairline. I decided to by medium ash blonde to go a bit lighter and tone my natural red highlights but my hair turned dark. It is now brown, not blonde at all and I need to find away to get my blonde hair back. I knew colouring all my hair was going to be a mistake as I have now ruined my natural hair colour. It does leave your hair feeling quite nice though.
